The nudes (Lipstick Diaries pt.2).

And let me start by clearing it all up for you. I don´t mean THE nudes. I mean my favourite neutral lipstick shades.

This time I talk about the juicy glossy ones and the liquid mattes, too. Let me preface it all by saying that the possibilities when it comes to nude lipsticks are endless; it all depends on your skintone. Some people live to think that nudes are the shades that make you look frozen or dead. Well, they are, but there is an endless line of other shades to choose from. So let´s start with the ones I chose for you today.

I call this one "the teacher nude". I bought it last year when I started to teach. I always wear something on my lips, so I had to opt for something more neutral and... more inconspicious. That´s when I discovered this one. The coverage is not the fullest one, but it leaves my lips moisturized and I get the feeling that it changes colour the longer you wear it. Simply magic... 








Essence Ultra Last Instant Colour 07 Undress my Lips
This one definitely does the opposite, but in the nicest of ways. I call it a darker, more cool-toned lipstick with a classic glossy finish. It´s affordable and I can wear it every day without having second thoughts, because I know I can always find another tube in every drugstore around.









Tanya Burr Cosmetics Matte Lip in Martha Moo

This is the so-called "my lips but better" shade. With just one coat, you can achieve the most beautiful natural-looking lips; it evens out the tone of your lips perfectly. If you add more, it increases on the intensity and I love to wear it both ways. It´s one of those "YouTube made me buy it" items, but I don´t regret it in the slightest!










NYX Liquid Suede 04 Soft-Spoken
My most favourite nude lipstick of all times. Yes, it´s a bit bolder, but it only takes a little bit of getting used to. The one negative is that it can dry out your lips, so I recommend applying a light layer of lip balm beforehand... and it´s all okay.











NYX Lingerie 12 Exotic

This one has a slight whisper of red in it, but in my opinion, that´s what makes it unique. When applied, it feels light-weight and lasts a long time. After an hour or so, you completely forget that you have applied something on your lips before.












Well, the second round is over. Honestly, my lips feel all used up and swollen, especially after swatching the liquids, but I think it was all worth it. Let me know which is your favourite nude.

A few weeks ago, I talked about how drawing, painting or just doodling mindlessly is a great psycho hygiene for me. It helps me calm down my thoughts and shut down my brain for a while, just like meditation would. It started with a printing paper and markers from my local supermarket. Skincare that doesn´t break your bank.

  I am a firm believer of the idea that makeup is there to cover anything we don´t want others to see, however, why cover something if we can work some skincare magic so there´s nothing to cover? I got this idea from one of my favourite French women Violette_fr and once I jumped on the skincare wagon, there was no turning back. Saying this, I do love me some lotions, serums or toners... However, I don´t really opt for all those steps and extensive routines that I see some of the other women do, nor do I buy all the overpriced product that are presented to me on social media. Happy New Year everyone! The time has come to sum up everything that happened (and didn´t happen) during the past 365 days.  Time runs wild, everything changes from one day to another and we are here to witness it all. So let me tell you about my 365 days of 2017.  Actually, I had the roughest start to the year. The holidays went past faster than I anticipated and it was time to return to school. Don´t get me wrong, I loved my school; well, apart from the one professor that was determined to turn my life into a living hell.
