Stripes are life.

The other day I dared myself to re-vamp the quote by the one and only Albus Dumbledore. It goes something like this: "Friends can be found even in the strangest of places if one knows how to look for them." Some months ago I did exactly that; not only we get along well, we even have a very similar style of clothing.

I remember seeing Denis for the first time in his black and white stripy trousers and I knew immediately we would be friends in no time. I thought to myself, "hmm.. this one sure knows how to dress himself, what a style!" And stripes were precisely the point why we hung out today; we simply needed to immortalize our summer outfits while we could! So, ladies and gentlemen, I present you our stripy summer #ootd.

These stripy long trousers scream summer for me! They are oversized, baggy, and when they catch wind, you feel like flying. Some people say I am crazy to deliberately wear long trousers in summer but if you try them, you'll never want to go back. I usually pair them with a plain white T-shirt, sometimes with a cheeky little quote on it. I either tuck it in or use a little hairband to tie the bottom in a knot.  My shoes are a neon-yellow Calvin Klein sneakers and my favorite part about this outfit is the Harry Potter inspired bag that I got in Germany.

Denis is the stripe king, trust me. This time, he wore them on his beautiful shirt which he paired with a basic black tee. He never forgets to tuck it in his shorts, which I love! Oh, and just by the way, check out his brand new Adidas Superstar sneakers! They are made of cork! But I guess his favourite accessories are his beautiful RayBan glasses and his Daniel Wellington watch. What a sassy fashionista!

So, here you are, a proof that no matter the gender, sex or whatever people call it these days, stripes are a very wearable style, not only in summer. Simply said, stripes are the LIFE!

Until next time,
Čauko, Lenka :)
