  I am a firm believer of the idea that makeup is there to cover anything we don´t want others to see, however, why cover something if we can work some skincare magic so there´s nothing to cover? I got this idea from one of my favourite French women Violette_fr and once I jumped on the skincare wagon, there was no turning back. Saying this, I do love me some lotions, serums or toners... However, I don´t really opt for all those steps and extensive routines that I see some of the other women do, nor do I buy all the overpriced product that are presented to me on social media. Dear readers (if you are still there), I would like to apologise for being absent for so long. The past month represented a very difficult time for me and my family. We had to say goodbye to my Grandma. Her passing was sudden and unexpected, but, thank God, relatively quick so she didn´t have to suffer a lot. I held her hand and prayed a lot (yes, me, I prayed, you would be shocked what the feeling of helplessness can do to you) in her last moments because even though her brain didn´t process it, I desperately wanted her to know that she was not alone. Even though I wanted to be strong for my dad and for my Grandpa, and go on with my life like I would normally do, it didn´t last long and the breakdown finally came, as unexpected as it could; on a crossroads in the dark while driving my car.
