My DDHB A.K.A Delicious Decadent Hazelnut Brownie
The time has come for another one of my kitchen experiments. This time, luckily, everything went well as planned. Do you know the post-Christmas feeling when all the delicious sweets and cakes suddenly vanish? Trust me, I do, too. This year they came and went away too fast. On the first Sunday of the new year my sweet tooth was shouting at me, longing after something sweet, yet quick to make and not terribly sugary. I decided to do a good old brownie, but with a Lenka-twist. Because nothing works well with a little recipe personalization, right? My brownie is a good alternative for the classic version, but it´s improved with a few drops of the vanilla-bourbon extract and crushed hazelnuts sprinkled on the top. This little “jazzup” served with a spoonful of peanut butter on the top and chopped banana on the side makes for a perfect and easy sunday masterpiece. Want to know the “how-to”?
