Yoga and stuff

So I jumped to the yoga bandwagon... Once again. During my years in Leipzig, I developed loads of things (bad habits being the majority). But what I was most proud of was my everyday yoga practice. I got in quite a good shape very quickly, but I´m not gonna lie, it wasn´t an easy journey. Yoga looks easy when you´re looking at someone practicing it. You´re laughing your ass off when the person starts sweating like a mad dog but when you actually dare and give it a try, you change your mind quickly. The practice itself isn´t only about getting into all those crazy pretzel shapes, I would say that the most important thing is regular breathing and the general posture you have to achieve; head over the heart, heart over the pelvis. My quick winter slap-it-on makeup

Winter mornings are awful. Well, mornings are awful, period. We all love to stay in bed as long as possible and when the realization, that we need to be at work in 30 minutes hits, the panic takes us by surprise, because as much as we like to stay cosy underneath the blankets, we also want to look somewhat presentable. Over the last few years of me getting gradually lazier, I developed a quick routine that always saves me from my misery. It goes like this: Tea and something to listen to . I am a tea-lover so having a cuppa in the morning is a must. What´s more, anything reminding me of the rush seems to slow me down even more. So in order to keep my tempo alive, I always listen to something in the background; whether it´s an audiobook or your current favourite playlist on Spotify, bring it on! My personal favourite these days is nothing other than the Harry Potter audiobooks narrated by the legendary Stephen Fry. Shocker! Slap-it-on yet still safe. Because cold months ...
